So many of us have found ourselves caught up in the hustle & bustle of our busy Lifestyle – attempting to be all things to all people, except to ourselves. The stress, strain and worry resulting from this whirlwind existence affects us both mentally and physically. It evolves into:

  • low immune systems leaving us more susceptible to colds & flu,
  • weight struggles,
  • chronic fatigue,
  • depression,
  • high blood pressure,
  • diabetes,
  • lower back problems,
  • arthritis,
  • the list gets long…

It doesn’t matter what age you are or whether you are active or spend your life in front of the computer or have found your physical activity inhibited by a condition. I believe that everyone has the opportunity to find health and well being in their life and that I can teach people how to find this "well being" through an approach to yoga that moulds the practice to the person rather than moulding the person to the practice. By creating a friendly and positive atmosphere and being patient and encouraging, I can motivate you to make clear changes in your life.

Yoga is not a religion. It does not limit itself to Indian Holy Men or willowy young athletes. Yoga is a science that can be modified to any body type or physical ability. You don’t have to be flexible to do yoga. If you are breathing and you can wiggle a finger, you have all the prerequisites to do yoga.

Through simple yoga stretches and strengthening exercises, yoga breathing techniques, body awareness and ways of quieting the mind, I can provide you with the tools you need to peel back the layers of your stress and allow you to retrieve the healthy, vibrant and happy person that exists within you.
